Stop rebuilding your process from scratch
Workplace investigations training for a more disciplined practice.
A focused cohort for HR, employee-relations and investigation professionals who want a repeatable way to move from assignment to findings.
Limited to 20 participants. Immediate access to the self-paced course. Guided cohort begins October 12. Enrollment closes September 25.
Cohort Sprint 2026
The challenge
The assignment arrives before the process feels settled.
You may know the organization, the policy and the people involved. You still have to turn a complaint into a fair process, a usable record and findings that show how you reached them.
That means making dozens of judgment calls while participants are waiting, leaders want answers and the evidence continues to develop.
The assignment is broad or unclear
You need a workable scope before the investigation expands around you.
The evidence arrives in pieces
Documents, interviews and timelines need one organizing method.
Interviews carry competing needs
You need preparation without scripting the evidence.
The report must show the reasoning
A conclusion is not enough. The path from evidence to finding must be visible.
What the course is designed to help you build
A repeatable path through the investigation.
By the end of the four-week cohort, you will have worked through the course framework from the initial assignment through evidence analysis and reporting.
Plan the investigation
Clarify the assignment, organize the allegations and identify the evidence you need.
Build the record
Use a consistent structure for intake, documents, interviews and developing information.
Evaluate the evidence
Test material facts against the available record and document the reasoning.
Communicate clear findings
Prepare a report that explains the allegations, evidence, analysis and conclusions.
Inside the course
See what you will work through.
The course combines video instruction, downloadable workbooks, practical templates, assessments and a continuing case study. The lesson previews below are drawn from the course materials.
Create a structured investigation plan
Move from the initial assignment to a defined evidence and findings process.
Organize documents and information
Develop a relevant document checklist and keep the record manageable.
Prepare for focused, fair interviews
Use the evidence and allegations to guide preparation while staying open to the account provided.
Show how the evidence supports the finding
Connect the record, analysis and conclusion in a report the reader can follow.
A clearer course experience
Know where you are and what comes next.
Move through the investigation pathway with a clear view of your progress.
Each stage pairs the lesson, workbook and related practice material so you can see what to complete next.

The four-week path
One investigation stage at a time.

The cohort space
Keep the course conversation in one place.
Your enrollment includes immediate access to the October 2026 cohort space inside The Investigative Edge Community.
Use the Community to find orientation notes and announcements, ask questions about the course, share your weekly progress, meet other participants, and find office-hours joining instructions and replays.
Active cohort discussion runs from October 12 through November 8. Office-hours replays are available only through November 8. Beginning November 9, the discussion channels become read-only and the cohort archive remains available for the rest of your 12-month course-access term.
Live practitioner support
Bring the judgment calls to office hours.
Meet with Chiedza on October 19, 22 and 29 and November 5 from noon to 1 p.m. Pacific.
The cohort is limited to 20 participants so the office-hours sessions remain workable and focused. Use the time to ask questions about applying the course framework, clarify the week’s material and work through points that remain unsettled. Office hours are educational and should not include confidential client or investigation details.
Every session will be recorded. Replays remain available to enrolled learners through November 8.

Your instructor
Learn with Chiedza Nziramasanga.
Chiedza is a workplace investigator and former employment attorney who helps organizations navigate complex workplace concerns with a careful, fair process.
She created The Investigative Edge for the people responsible for turning an allegation into a disciplined investigation record. Her teaching focuses on the decisions behind the process, not simply a checklist of tasks.
During the October cohort, Chiedza will hold four live office-hours sessions so learners can ask questions about applying the course framework.
